During Bethesda’s E3 2018 conference, the company announced a major update to its free-to-play strategy card game, The Elder Scrolls: Legends, was on the way. Included in this major update is console support, and that means Switch.

On top of an overhauled interface and streamlined gameplay, The Elder Scrolls: Legends also features cross-save capabilities. That means that if you were to download TES: Legends and play it on mobile today, when the Switch version launches later this year all you’ll have to do is log in with your Bethesda account and continue playing there.

You can see the full details, including a trailer, below, or click here to check out the website.

NEW LOOK, SAME GREAT GAME
Built entirely from the ground up, The Elder Scrolls: Legends’ new client will feature a revamped interface, menu and playmat that emphasizes the grandiose clashes of creatures and epic spellslinging that occurs in each match. The new client will also refresh the onboarding experience, making it faster and easier than ever for new players to dive into the strategic fun of Legends.

In addition to new menus and playmats, the client update will also feature new card frames, offering a sleeker look while showing off more of The Elder Scrolls: Legends’ fantastic artwork!

The update won’t just be optimized to look better – it will play better, too! The new client condenses the game file to a smaller size, meaning that not only will Legends and its future updates run smoother on your PC, mobile device or console, but they will also take up less space as well.

NEW WAYS TO PLAY
Also announced during the Bethesda E3 Showcase, The Elder Scrolls: Legends will soon be making its way to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch later this year!
We’re excited to bring the easy-to-pick-up, hard-to-put-down gameplay of Legends to these new systems, adding new ways to sling cards at your leisure – be it with a touchscreen on the go or with a controller on the big screen. But if you haven’t yet played Legends, there’s no need to wait for the console versions. Download and play today on mobile, tablet or PC, and any progress you make will be carried over to the console versions via your Bethesda.net account.
