I currently hate kids And the parents who supply them with alcohol

Me being 19, and my brother 16 it's not too much of an issue.
I went to Perth this weekend just gone, and my brother supposedly invited one friend over for fun times.
Apparently this d*ck of a friend started texting all his friends telling them about our house being unoccupied by parents or older brothers.
Cue 40 or so people coming to my house, drinking *all* the alcohol in our outside fridge, and obviously bringing their own. Vomiting all over our backyard and patio, smashing up the wooden bench on the patio, getting the police called 4 times, stealing cars around the area and using them to do burnouts at the end of the street and other fun stuff.
All the while, my brother is shitting himself inside not able to get rid of them for fear of his life.
I mean seriously, I suddenly have a large amount of hate for certain portions of this generation.
Go and f*ck up your own neighbourhoods/houses you little pricks!

My brother's had a stern talking to, and may or may not still be able to go to Soundwave next year as a result.
The other kid and his parents we're yet to speak to, but they'll also have the issue discussed with them tomorrow I think.
My brother is currently going around with Dad apologizing to the neighbourhood.
Don't know what we can do about the other people though, got no idea who was even there.
Oh, and trust me, had I been there I would have taken some action with various weapons
I can look intimidating if I want to <.<
Either that or I'd ask the cops to get them to GTFO.
[EDIT for ninjadead's post]
Well they did arrest the guy who stole the car and was screwing around with it, but yeah, for some reason my brother didn't feel it necessary to ask them to help him get rid of the bastards.

Well it wasn't so much my brother that did it, but he still has to harbour some of the blame for doing SFA about it.
I semi wish I was home, I could have waved my zombie slaying knife around, then run away from 30 drunk kids wanting to crack my skull, then call the cops <.<

Agree with Vook and totally feel for your lil bro Ninja, he's learned a hard lesson (hopefully) about trust. Repect is dying in the western world, has been for awhile and the age of instant communication I don't think is helping. Everything seems to boil down to "instant" - fun, gratification, house parties. No time to think about the consequences of actions.

Amen. Being young and stuff today, with our upbringing it's all too easy to just DO something without thinking of it, even to the point where you say "we shouldn't do this" but you just flat out ignore it. Hence even when the "rules" feel stuffy\stupid\no real consequence of being broken, any person with half a brain will have the rational part take over and stop them. Unfortunately that process seems to be dying out these days.

Stop with this "youth of today" nonsense.
Every single generation in the history of evar has said the exact same thing about younger generations.

I'm in the gen x bracket. We did and do stupid stuff all the time and I dare say that if we had the ability to text, there would have been a lot more of these sorts of parties occurring and in fact, our generation is pretty much in denial on how old we are and emulating gen y rather than trying to grow up. Rationality and long term thinking (even a few hours away!) is being killed by the instant hit society.

Ninja I hate to say it but your brother didn't invite 1 friend, he invited a few.
It's a rule of being a teenager if you tell around 4+ people that your parents are away and your inviting them around. THAT'S when it happens.
I've seen it happen a few times.

Why don't you all f-fade away (Talkin' 'bout my generation)
And don't try to dig what we all s-s-say (Talkin' 'bout my generation)
I'm not trying to cause a big s-s-sensation (Talkin' 'bout my generation)
I'm just talkin' 'bout my g-g-g-generation (Talkin' 'bout my generation)

Well, I do have my suspicions that he invited more than one, but some dudes came back to get their phone charger, and I had never seen them before, they were'nt even on a first name basis <.<

You'd say that wouldn't you, you're not the one who had to put up with you... Unless of course you're saying you've never done anything, alcohol fueled or otherwise, that could be shelved in the "bloody f*cking youths really pissing off other people through whatever it is they've done" category.
Not wanting to you know, criminalize you or anything nemmy, but it seems a strecth to say "I had muchos alchohol early in my life and little discipline and I never was a bloody nuisance to anyone"

IDK, world looks a lot better now than back in the days of Vikings or Mongrolrians! Or even 19th century England, where filling up you kids with opium for the day was equivalent to putting them in daycare woo!
