The replays are not saved as a video format so there isnt any way to simply use the SD card to view the replays on your pc

As for the Multi-Man Brawl champs (Dilzi and playa271), I haven't got sigs ready for you yet, but I shall get them up for you.

Now, that all this is over, how often are people interested in doing this (Brawl nights, that is)? I don't see the point in doing them more often than once a month and a half. But yeah, discuss.

One on Ones: You cannot vs. the same person more than once to add to your ladder tally. You may of course, vs. them for fun. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a loss.

why not change it to a maximum of 3 times? give the loser of the 1st match a chance to get a win on the board?

just a thought

I don't see why we can't expand this tourney into more like an AFL Season or something? lol then you could also have the equivalent to a NAB cup. as long as your a registered player, all ganon has to do is get report back on who vs who with replays. so no work for him, only us knowing who to vs next but talk with each other when you want the match....anyone like the sound of that. that way people don't have to wait/miss out for a one/two nighter.

I had to specifically take time off work for this and I went to an 18th straight after my rounds (which earnt me the win, funnilly enough) so I doubt I could be a regular participant. OH SO BUSY >_>

but would you agree on a seasonal tourney were you and another opponent decide when to have a match etc? it defeats the whole notion of "i can't make it on the nite" thing.

Ah, forgot to change it in this thread. But in the Results thread, I assure you it reads a maximum of twice.

As for the season thing, I'm kinda reluctant having seen the Mario Strikers Season go to hell..... I thought, the way I was doing it now wasn't really pressuring anyone to come. It rewards you being there, but also makes sure you can catch up should you miss one.

But hell, if we muster enough interest, perhaps a Brawl season is what we need. It would, of course, mean complete abolishment of the current rankings.

Another idea is to do it boxing style. So you play the person on top of you in the rankings, in order to climb on top of them or something? But that would only work in OneOnOne cases....

well see, I don't mind what type of style it is. I think its more important to get interest in the flexibility of people that can't choose when they can turn up to battle. I'm sure people are not gonna be slack and not take this responsibility. if people are committed it shouldn't be a problem. unless we can get a poll/opinions on the type of match and the flexibility of when to battle.

We could do it like the pokemon thing. You challenge someone to a match whenever is good for you, 2 matches count, reset counter at next night? (Meaning only 2 matches count until the next tournament thing).
I think something like that might work.

An AFL season would be good, also be good if there was some sort of physical prize for the winner? that would get more interest i think.

Not good.
It would be nice, but will just encourage a whole bunch of randoms to sign up, post once or twice, and never come back until the next prize-tournament.

nah well there should be some rules, like a minimum post count, or hell y not a small sign in fee? the money from the sign ups can go towards the prize? like footy tipping

well because its online its not going to be as smooth of a match. therefore I don't think actual prizes/money should be formed. I'm more than happy just to have a form of rankings but free from one night restrictions where you have to show up on a fixed night. I just want to be able to vs the people I need to vs and report back to ganon my scorecard/replays. then base it off the to 8 players or whatever to be in a finals tourney who were in the top rankings. its as simple as that.

That's even worse!
Who's going to want to pay to play a free online game, when you paid... whatever you paid... for the game?

Also, who would pay to play brawl online in it's current state? xD
