Asura's Wrath, including the bonus chapters. Such silliness. Left me feeling unfulfilled, and in need of DLC chapters :(
Soul Calibur V. Had to learn to play it from scratch, seeing as I'm a jumpy Street Fighter player through and through.
The Last story. Consumed my life. 4 intense gaming sessions. 30 hours. Brilliant.

Just finished Tintin on iOS.

Amazing game. Great variety, from swordfights to platforming to smooth QTEs. One of the best movie tie-ins I've played, and extremely satisfying for an iOS game, (compared to the many 'endless' runners and such).

/fanboy rant. I'll probably write a soppy love-blog about it.

At times it has just been ----> :wallbash:

Finally, after years (literally - I've had this since I was 14) of hardship, and TRAUMA... it is done.
I have finished this...

One of the hardest games I've played. One of the most unique games I've played. One of the few games I've REQUIRED a walkthrough for. I feel pretty satisfied now, though

Just finished Kirby's Epic Yarn. What a gorgeous piece of craftsmanship it is! The music really is a stand-out; so many catchy piano melodies. I've already got the sheet music for Lava Landing. I finished KEY at 75%, so there are still some of the challenge things to do, with all my yarny friends in the apartment block, plus the extra levels for 3-starring existing ones. So hopefully I'll be back for a bit more. This makes me want more Kirby, so I'll definitely be buying the 20th anniversary pack. I also perused a few videos of Kirby's Return to Dreamland Adventure, and despite some dodgy reviews, I'm sold.

I just finished Lollipop Chainsaw. I can absolutely understand why critics have mixed opinions on it, but I had a ball. Fantastic music, satisfying combat, interesting characters, it's so good!

Gonna dive right back in to get a bunch of the unlockables I missed, and maybe get some leaderboards scores.

Posting here rather than the Backloggery thread, since the game I finished isn't on my list.
Spec Ops: The Line
My Twitter followers have already seen my response, but I'll echo it here.
If you have even the slightest interest in shooters, play this game. It takes gaming narrative forward in ways no other game has yet. It is incredible, and gaming needs more games like this.

Just finished Spec Ops: The Line. Since I was already RIDICULED on Facebook for having the same sentiments as Catfish (and presumably the majority of gamers) regarding the impact on the player and the themes of moral ambiguity, the concept of right and wrong, false heroism and war crimes, I will simply say that the game was deep and memorable. Solid shooting experience bar sometimes fiddly controls (died many times in no-mans land thanks to unresponsive context commands), and unfortunately short-lived at about 5-6 hours... but a very special experience - hopefully a nod towards more complex and gripping narratives in games in the future. Also Nolan North's performance was par excellence, to be expected.

Finished Portal 2. After my somewhat meh feelings towards it after I bought it, I can say now it's thoroughly worthy as the sequel to Portal.

It actually frightens me to think what the internet would be like if this happened to people in GENERAL.

Just finished LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 on iOS.

Its a great little game. It looks good and runs well on my 4th Gen iPod. I've finished the main story, but that's only 60% completion, so there are plenty more bricky characters and studs to collect if I was feeling particularly like indulging my OCD. However, unlike the sequel, there are no game centre achievements to entice me to play much more, so I'll probably just grab Years 5-7 when it next drops to 99c. Despite the collect-a-thon aspect, it was a little threadbare in some places, most noticeably in the Goblet of Fire levels, which missed a lot of opportunities considering that the books/films became longer and more mature at that point. I know they only have so many official Lego sets to tie in with, but still.

I did however, love how Tom Riddle's parts of Chamber of Secrets were sepia-toned. A great little nod to the film for the fans.

Robbo came round and we played through Goof Troop on SNES in one sitting.
So much fun, though if I ever see a sliding block puzzle again it'll be too soon.

Blasted through Halo 4 in less than 12 hours. A damned fine Halo game, especially after Reach and ODST. Sure it had issues with pacing and exposition, as well as not quite consistantly getting the intended emotion across, but there were still feels and excitement to be had.

After putting it off on hiatus for many months, I finally returned to Mutant Mudds and fully completed all of the levels, including the DLC Granny Levels. I must say, it was very refreshing to play an indie platformer that does NOT make heavy use of puzzles, and the later levels were some major tests of reflexes, precision and speed. I look forward to the sequel; Renegade Kid have a place in my good books for now.

I am really keen to try out MM, but I was waiting for it to get Greenlit. I know it is on GOG, but I have other games to play anyway. :P

Though I am tempted by the 99c iOS version... Do you think it is the kind of game that would translate well to touch controls?

Just finished Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
It was quite good, didn't hit the same peak as Uncharted 2, but still enjoyable overall, save for some table-throwingly frustrating sections towards the end.

You could probably get away with Touch Screen controls for a good portion of the game, but the last few levels really require you to be jumping, moving and firing all at the same time at certain segments. I could only imagine this turning into a frustration wall with the controls, but I can't say for certain. For 99c, you can't really go wrong either way. :P

^ That, except on PS3. It was a fun game but you really could notice how broken the combat was after a few runs of the levels.

Yeah, wasn't much to it once you had Holy Chainsaw. Was just a matter of tapping each zombie in a group, running around so the bunch up then the Holy Chainsaw for mass score. I still had a heap of fun first time through, the characters and writing were great!

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game
Have had a blast with this game! It's fiendishly hard, but if you go and play through levels a few times to get cash for upgrades and XP it becomes quite manageable. The final boss was crazy difficult until I discovered a store that gave me a +50 to STR (max is 100) and then I just annihilated him.
The music is so great, visual style glorious, i just love it! A great tribute to old school beat-em-ups like River City Ransom/Street Gangs.
