Activision bundles a Golden Classic Controller Pro with GoldenEye and Australia isnt missing out

Yesterday it was announced that the US would be getting a Golden Classic Controller Pro in a bundle with GoldenEye on the Wii, out later this year. Today Activision has announced that Aussies will be getting the bundle as well and that the game will be on Aussie shores this Spring. No official pricing for Australia has been revealed as of yet, although EB Games is currently listing it as $119. A bit more than what Monster Hunter Tri and a Classic Controller was.

The game doesn’t just support the Classic Controller though, with the Zapper and the usual Wii Remote and Nunchuck support included. Rumours even suggest you’ll be able to use the GameCube controller.

The Classic Controller Pro so far has only been released with Monster Hunter Tri in Australia, so it’s great that we’ll have another chance to grab one.

I will be getting this bundle for sure. I used to play Goldeneye 64 with the the limited edition gold controller, looks like history will repeat itself. Very hyped for this game.

I'm like Shadow, I use to play Goldeneye on the N64 with my Golden Controller. As soon as I know the reason date I'll be pre ordering for sure. This is the game I'm most looking forward to this year(yes, more so than Metroid).

No official pricing for Australia has been revealed as of yet

Isnt this correct?

EB Games is currently listing it as $119

EB Games fails once again...if it wasnt for the hot chicks I'd never venture into that store...

This is my game of the year aswell. As for the prices you posted, I hope there true, $69.99 is a great deal with the classic controller. Heres hoping. JBhifi have it listed as $89 without the controller, but I am sure they didnt know about the bundle yet. JB seem to be backing this game good. My local stores already have advertising for this game.

I think the pricing in the IGN article is US pricing, there's no way this'll retail for under $50.

Fantastic for those without the CCPro, I think I'll end up standalone as I already have two schmick black ones, but if the funds are there come release day, mebbe....

Looking like $119 with the Controller, no word on pricing without it.

That's a very nice looking controller. I'll get the bundle, though I'll probably play with the Wiimote+Nunchuk.

Ouch, Why does being an Aussie have to hurt my wallet.. Hope thats just eb's price and everyone else gives a better offer. Not sure if I will go Wii Mote & Nunchuck or Classic Controller Pro. Will simply lean towards the Pro atm as the gold looks nice :P

Think I'll be getting this bundle, too, as I'm yet to get myself the Pro controller. Hopefully we'll soon be able to buy the Pro just on its own, for multiplayer purposes.

That's my issue. I don't know whether to get it or not, since I already have a CC, CCP and only two Wiimotes.

Reminds me of my mum when she buys something just because its on special. I've never bought a "special" or "limited" addition of a game (apart from fallout 3.

If i can remember correctly, Goldeneye was the first ever game I played on the N64, it was also the first game my older brother bought for it. I think i might be able to coax my brother into buying this for me :P
No doubt this game is appealing to the gamers that love nostalgia, but im worried that it might go unnoticed to the slightly younger or casual gamer.

Which will be a good thing when we're all playing online and there are no 12 year old kids asking where the Needle Gun is or something.....
