Played a bit of it today, first time in ages. Got a little bit further to where I was in the mines now, instead of the passages.

Oh wow, so I just finished the third dungeon. Even though I guess LoZ introduced action "cutscenes" from WW, it's still really cool to have stuff happen during story moments, instead of the simplicity of OoT and MM we grew up with.

And yes, Groose has popped up again now and I'm loving it.

Just had my first go at the Thunder Dragon's Lightning Round as I just unlocked it. I thought the battles were rather easy, I easily got past 8 rounds and I was offered

I am just about up to where you are NinjaDead.

Have just finished the tasks asked of me by the Water Dragon and now off to find the second dragon.

Briliant game, I am enjoying it immensly, even though I have had a few annoyances with some of the controls.

Easily one of the best Zelda games, and probably equal to OoT in my eyes.

Have put almost 40 hours into so far, and there is a few side quests and other things I want to do before I finish it (e.g., find all goddess cubes).

I've just got all the Gratitude crystals now, once that's done I'll do all the Heart Pieces followed by Goddess Cubes. That should then be 100% and I can finally finish the game off with the last dungeon and boss :)

Well I'm up to the first "trial" and I have to say it's the first bit of gameplay I've really been dissapointed with. Sure it was something different, but it + the next step have really sort of dampened my spirits. I guess that's the way backtracking usually feels.

To be quite honest, Faron Woods probably has the worst stuff when it comes to that area of the game. Loved the music and loved trecking through it the first time but after that, they don't add anything new. If it's true that three different teams designed the three main areas then Faron's was definitely the poorest team.

And Lanayu's was the best.

I have completed the water dragons' request and ventured through the dungeon at Faron Waterfall. Can I say that the music outside the temple is amazing and the temple theme itself, being rather like a trip to Thailand or Malaysia, somewhere in the SE asia region, is fantastic! The generic dungeon theme is gone and now the links to real-world cultures is really well implemented. LOVE IT!!!

Yes, heck yes! I was saying this earlier but I thought I was crazy for thinking this place had awesome music. Good thing too, there isn';t much else to do there.

Ah this makes me more hopeful for what's to come then.

Oh and good work using spoilerific terms guys >_>

If those terms are spoilers then you should probably retire from the internet until you finish the game

So... who else has been keeping an eye on that hot-ass country girl Kina at the Lumpy Pumpkin?

Posted Image

Oh yes. She's ready for some ACTION. Unfortunately her father is the owner of the tavern which is balls. Won't matter for Link though, what with him being a respectable hero and all. And he ought to be packing a six pack by the end of his adventure. She's obviously pretty keen...

MMM-MMM.

On a serious note, finished the game. Double boss battle at the end was great, I died 3 or 4 times on the final battle. It was a little frustrating at first, but refreshing to say the least. Actually having trouble with a Zelda boss battle after Ocarina! Inconceivable. I like what they did the epilogue and how it all sets up the entire series (which is pretty amazing when you think about it), especially the atmosphere of the final fight. I'd call it Wind Waker Ganondorf battle meets the final arena battle with Ganondorf in Twilight Princess. Good stuff, although a tad short. But the awesome HOLY SHIT I AM A SWORD MASTER thing works well, the whole 'exchange of blows' vibe.

Overall, great game. Will be hammering the side quests soon.

My favourite character is definitely the fortune teller. Such a ridiculous but funny design that you can't help chuckling at.

Did the boss rush for the Thunder Dragon. Thought I may as well go through and finish all eleven challenges. What I didn't know is that, if you want a certain prize, you have to quit at that point. So I missed out on the goddamn shield and got 3000 rupees that I can't carry >_>

Yeah, so many dumb weird choices. Boggles the mind.

One of my favourites is Kukiel's dad just for the way he says "Thank you".

Well I managed to pull myself back to attempting another eight bosses. Ugh, so tedious after doing the whole thing. I have given myself a headache, but I finally have the Hylian Shield! *collapses*

I found the boss rush mode incredibly easy. Got the shield on my first attempt. I did have 19 hearts though

Erm yeah, we've started to get lax on the spoilers. Keep in mind there are still people playing the game guys.

Todd I don't think it's the difficulty of it all, more having to do it all over again if you try to go for the "bigger" prize instead of settling for the better one.

Sunk 5 straight hours into this game yesterday on my day off (I think it was 5, maybe 4).

Still going very slowly, dowsing for various items. Sitting on 60 "grabitude crackles" at the moment. There's no more to dowse so I'm guessing there's some people I can make even happier. Heading to the final flame this morning.... got sad at having to quit before heading to work.
