What? THAT'S not what's special about it. All shiny Pichu (Plural?) are coloured that way, but this one triggers the 'Spiky-Eared' (I swear that we were calling it Notch-Eared at one point) Pichu event in Ilex Forest in Heart Gold and the INFERIOR Soul Silver (=o). This of course requires that you have the shiny event Pichu at the top of your party as you go through Ilex Forest, and it would be better if you didn't go and evolve it straight away.

On a side note, Nintendo Australias website doesnt have any info on this, which is odd since they usually include Wi-Fi events on their site. I understand that it's available to every English speaking country but still...

Though this whole thing is rediculously stupid. Once upon a time we were getting Mews and Celebis, now it's all "WOO TIE IN TO POKEMON MOVIE 312 THAT HAS NOT ONE TENTH OF THE TALENT AND COOLNESS OF THE ORIGINAL FILM OR SERIES!, WOOOOOOOOOOO!"

I agree...I really wish Nintendo would re release Mew and Celebi through events.

Current earnings will only let me buy SoulSilver and RedSteel 2 as well as some manga. But until Aussie-Nintendo said that the event was live it was notch eared. I think they've changed it.
