Well nearly done with Eragon. Again, a little cliche but still a good read. But let it be known that I despise books/movies etc that go with the old mentor dies to further the heroes cause. Star Wars did it best, leave it at that.

Harry Potter just ruined the whole plot device. Sigh.

American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis.

Very gruesome, graphic and detailed. Ellis is one of my favourite authors, his writing is somewhat nihilistic. I'm gonna read Rules of Attraction or Glamorama next.

Anyone read any of Ellis's novels?

Nothing happened in the tenth. It was much worse waiting for book 10, only for nothing to happen and another long wait ahead.

You do that Sup...read it good :D

A Clash Of Kings, book 2 of the Song of Fire And Ice series. Awesome stuff, thanks WTD! I'm buying them as I go along, so until I finish A Feast For Crows I'm reading the series in one big go. I read it on the train in the mornings on the way to work, which is about a 1.5 hour trip, so I'm making good progress :)

I just finished reading 'The Devil's Alternative', a cold war era thriller written during the cold war by Frederick Forsythe. I'd read one of this guys books before, so when I spotted it in a double volume with this one for 50c I grabbed it.

What can I say, the guy dumps all over Tom Clancy and all those other American writers from a great height. I'd take a hell of a lot of convincing that there's a superior geopolitical thriller writer in history.

Oh yeah, about the book. Plot details:

Just finished Adam Zamoyski's '1812 Napoleon's Fatal March on Moscow.' It is without a doubt the most comprehensive, accurate work on the 1812 campaign.

Just started to read 'War and Peace' by Leo Tolstoy.
