This is a thread which will work just like the introduce yourself thread except it's for EVERYONE so from the 05ers to the 08ers, Plasma to Equinox it's time to tell us about yourself so that everyone here(even the lurkers) knows what your like and will make newbies introducing themselves in the intro section less daunting.

So First off is well ME!
Funnily enough I never made an intro thread so why not start a few years down the track hehehe.

So I'm Ini king of the 'whinge plasma and ninja to come to perth meetups brigade', I constantly quote obscure things in public and give big kudos and high fives if anyone ever picks up on what I'm referencing, I luurrvee meeting up with as many vookians as possible and will soon have met more vookians than plasma nyuk nyuk nyuk!
Why I joined vooks: I joined vooks coz profi poked me into it then I eventually came to be more involved in it than he did haha.
What Consoles Do I own: (current) Wii,360,PS3,DS.
What am I currently playing: TF2,Halo 2+3, GH:WT and Rock Band, Pokemanz Diamond,Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne.

Why I Joined Vooks: I was bored in Year Seven, found this place, joined cause I felt like posting on the forums. Continued posting and now I'm in Year Ten and no longer bored

What Consoles Do I Own: I frequent the PC mostly nowadays, but I also own a Wii and DS. And an iPod, which I play too much Klondike on.

What I'm Currently Playing: On PC: Mirror's Edge, TF2, STALKER; on Wii: AC:LGTTC; on DS: nothing and on iPod: Klondike. Too. Much. Klondike. It's addictive.

What Games Do I Love Playing Online: CS:S and TF2 are the major ones, although I hope to LAN some STALKER and GMod once my parents (read: mother) let me actually meet up with some of you :\

What Are Some Of My Favourite 'Classic' Games: Being 14 I don't have too many, although I own a 64 so I can list my favourites from there: Super Mario 64, Pokemon Snap, Mario Kart 64 and while not really old it's still classic, Portal.

What are some of my favourite 'classic' games: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (always used to play that at my grandparents on SEGA when I was little), Pokemon Yellow (first ever gameboy game), Medal of Honor rising Sun.. yes, now I look back on it, it stunk, but was first ever FPS I owned, and used to love 2 player campaign with friends. Have some great memories of 12 kid sleepovers at friends in primary school (bush property), and we'd all bring our PS2's (usually 4 or 5 goin) and at night, play lots of GTA Vice City (another classic for me) and Medal Of Honor!

Why I joined vooks: About 6 months before the Wii came out I did a bit of reading and decided I would like one, and upon doing further research found this place. Stuck around ever since (plus I always like having a regular forum and at the time I'd been perma-banned from the WoW forums so I had to make the switch)!

Why I joined vooks: Was on the gamefaqs at the time. I met a certain Spirit on the Twilight Princess forums there. He had the site in his sig with the tagline "Not another shameless ad". So I inquired and he told me to join. After a while I did and I've never looked back.

Hi I'm grant and am in the 30+ age bracket and am getting back into games after a long absense. I got a wii on launch, prior to that I'd only had a ps2 (slimline), an original battery-eating gameboy mono and an atari 2600. Played more games on computer: Commodore 64, 286, 486, Athlon etc..

Got interested in the wii when I first read about the revolution and followed its progress for ages, always knowing i'd want one. Since then I guess I've be redisccovering myself as a gamer, i'm not made for driving games is one thing.

Am a parent with 50%, which means lots of time at home so do a fair chuck of web surfing in the evenings.

Why I joined vooks: I was browsing for wii-friendly sites when the opera channel launced and VOOKS was one of the first. And homegrown. I had questions to ask and opinions to give. Stuck around because y'all seem like a pretty good bunch.

What Consoles Do I own: I own a Game & Watch (Vermin, whoo!), NES, Sega Master System, SNES, Gameboy/Pocket/Advance/SP/Micro, Nintendo 64, PlayStation, Gamecube, Xbox (Doesn't even work anymore, I miss Timesplitters 2 ._.) and a Wii.

What I am currently playing: Battletoads, Metal Slug Anthology, Animal Crossing LGTTC, Resident Evil (From 0 through to Code Veronica, the real Resident Evil games).

Why I joined VOOKS: I came over with the Nintendation site and other members and I kind of go through spurts. I can post for a whole year, not post for six months, post for another week or two and lurk for another month. It depends on how the forum is heading, if I like the type of threads I will post in them, if I don't I wont. But I come back because I know most of the members and have unfinished business with some.

I'm not so much into the video gaming side of forums, I am more into the chatter and real issues, particularly politics.

I tend to say what I think, not scared of retribution at ALL.

What I am currently playing: Nothing really, I try not to buy new games for my personal computer because you need to have access to the internet for them to run properly and I am not connected to the internet in my bedroom.
