DS approaches one million down under, Wii closes in on 300,000

Nintendo Australia has today updated us on its sales figures for the Wii and Nintendo DS in Australia, as well as the top games for each console. Since launch, the Nintendo DS has now sold 988,168 units Down Under in just under its Third anniversary. Were sure itll reach the million by then, though. The Wii has also done well this Christmas holiday, boosting to a 293,000 units sold, up from the 251,101 reported just before Christmas.
