Competition: eGames movie pre-screening – ticket giveaway

Thanks to the generous folk at the eGames Expo (taking place in just under 3 weeks) we have an competition for Melbournians (that’s people in Melbourne incase you didnt know). We have been given 5 double passes to a special advance screening of the movie 30 Days of Night.

How to Enter

If you are free on Wednesday 7th of November at 6:30pm and live in Melbourne or can give the tickets to friends or family this is definitely one to enter. There are also door prizes at the movie including a PS3, To learn more about the eGames 2007 expo head over to their website.

Entry for this competition is easy; you don’t need to do anything other then send a email to comps@vooks.net before the 1st of November and you could win. Make sure the email contains your name and address and one double pass could be yours. If you can’t make it to the movie or don’t live in Melbourne we’ll be having another competition later on for everyone.

SYNOPSIS: Adapted from the break out comic book series, 30 Days of Night is set in Barrow, Alaska, the northernmost town in the United States where the sun sets for thirty consecutive days during winter. As the town shuts down, most of the hundreds plus people who stay for the darkness are mysteriously ravaged within minutes. Unseen predators cut off all means of communication and escape. The small band of people who survive the initial onslaught are led by a young sheriff couple, Eben and Stella, in their fight to stay alive until the return of daylight

Visitors to eGames 07 can also watch live, on-stage demonstrations of a number of new, never-before-seen games; hear keynote presentations from the industry leaders; catch up on the latest games news & views proffered by the expos industry panels and participate in a wide range of other exclusive at show activities.

The expo will also have a strong focus on careers in the new media and game development industry. Swinburne University, Monash University, Deakin University and QANTM College and AIE are all at the expo to provide visitors with insight and information on how to pursue a career in the game industry.
