Competition: A Shadows Tale up for grabs

Weve got 4 copies of A Shadows Tale to give away help us celebrate our tenth birthday and win!

Thanks to the very cool people at Mindscape, we have four copies of A Shadow’s Tale to give away for the Wii. A Shadow’s Tale is only just out here in Australia and Europe and won’t be available in America until next year! Created by the awesome people at Hudson Soft, the game is played entirely as a shadow. You’ll have to climb the shadows of the tower to reach the top. There are puzzles and enemies along the way that will impede your progress but you’ll have to battle past it. Check it out in action below.

As a bonus even if you don’t win the big prize, 10 runners up will something. It’s a special gift that is exclusive to Vooks and is your birthday present. (Don’t worry main prize winners, you’ll get one too).

We’ve got another creative competition for you again, this time we want you to, like the game, play in the shadows.

Everyone and everything casts a shadow, so we want you to recreate your favourite game in shadow form. You don’t have to make the whole game, just a snapshot. You can use yourself, toys from the games, or get out of the cardboard and glue and get really creative. We want to see some cool stuff!

To enter, all you have to do is email your image (digital photo), along with your name, address, and either your Vooks username or a link to your Twitter or Facebook profile.

– This competition commences immediately, and will conclude on the 9th of November. One entry is allowed per person. Four (4) entrants will win a copy of A Shadow’s Tale. 10 runners up will win a consolation gift as well. This runners-up gift will be announced at a later date as we confirm stock.

– Winners are selected based on creativity and effort; you don’t have to be an art major to win.

– The competition is open to all residents of Australia and New Zealand except where prohibited by local law. To be eligible to win you must be a member of the Vooks Forums, "Like" Vooks on Facebook or be following us on Twitter.

– Vooks staff members (past and present) are ineligible to win. Vooks is not responsible for lost or damaged mail and the prizes are not redeemable for cash.
