Nintendo Australia has revealed that newest Super Smash Bros. and the Splatoon 2 amiibo that were announced during the last Nintendo Direct, will now release one day sooner than previously said.

The new release date for the two versions of Cloud, Corrin and Bayonetta amiibo is now Friday July 21st. The Splatoon amiibo as well move to this day, the same day as the game.

Good news too as all these amiibo will be the standard $17.95RRP we’ve seen before. Hooray!

Same day as Splatoon 2 – chance there is an Amiibo unlock for them?

As long as they’re milking alternate poses, they could have included the male Wii Fit Trainer, Alph, the Koopalings, female Villager and Robin while they were at it. I thought that these amiibo would have been an ideal accompaniment to a Smash Switch port. Knowing Nintendo, they’ll probably release new poses of the entire roster to bleed us amiibo collectors dry. =P
