Beatles game not a Rock Band title, stand alone journey

In what sounds like an interesting twist MTV, Harmonix and Apple Corps have revealed in a conference call today that the Harmonix developmed Beatles game will not be a Rock Band title. According to Harmonix the game is a ground up project that will take you through the bands history from their first album “”Please Please Me”” all the way to “”Abbey Road.”” The game will show off the entire bands imagery, and show how the band evolved through their time together. More inside The game will be based on the bands UK releases with songs being untouched as possible for authenticity. At this point its not known how the game will actually play out or if Rock Band will eventually get the Beatles’ tracks. The game also has Sir Paul McCartneys, Ringo Starrs, Yoko Ono Lennons and Olivia Harrisons support. All four people will be involved in the game “”every step of the way creatively and musically. and have even seen the game running.

The Beatles also wont be appearing in Guitar Hero and they also wont say at this point what platforms the game will be on. The game is still a while away though, with the release planned for the next holiday season.
