Bayonetta 2 has been dated for North America

While Nintendo had a plethora of new and exciting announcements tonight, they also quietly announced a final release date for Bayonetta 2, a long awaited title that’s been with a very vague “October” release date since E3 earlier this year.

The game will be released in North America on Friday, the 24th of October. While no dates have been announced for Europe or Australia, an ideal situation would have it release here the day after on the 25th of October. Or in some freak occurrence, even earlier! Hey, a guy can dream!

Once we have local release details for Bayonetta 2, we’ll be sure to update you. Hopefully this North American date means the announcement for other regions is not too far away.

This will be an amazing summer for WiiU. Every game on the calendar brings a, “Can’t wait!” feeling. I must sheepishly admit I was slightly releaved when Captain Toad was delayed. Can we have too many Nintendo releases?
