Aussie developed Ninja Pizza Girl to deliver on Wii U

Australian developers Disparity Games have kicked off a Kickstarter for Ninja Pizza Girl, a free running game that will come to the Wii U, PC and Mac if it reaches its funding goal in time.

Inspired by Mirrors Edge and Sonic the Hedgehog the game puts you in the shoes of 16-year-old Gemma. She’s a pizza delivering ninja and she’s pretty good at it. But just like real life when she’s not going so well she’ll get depressed and downtrodden, mostly from all the bullying that her fellow ninjas throw at her. When this happens the game’s world goes grey and bleak. However get in the zone and the colour and speed return, she’s back on her feet and getting that pizza delivered on time.

Disparity Games is small and family game team from Queensland but they’ve got a great idea here and one with morals and ideals. Maybe you might even learn something from it?

The Kickstarter project is available to back here and Disparity tells us that even though it might not say it in the rewards (you can’t change once set) the Wii U version will be an option if the game meets its goal.

You can back the game here on Kickstarter.
