Aussie Bargain Roundup: New Nintendo 2DS XL

Advertisement

For some reason, Australia is getting another hardware revision before the rest of the world. We got the New Nintendo 3DS and New 3DS XL first outside of Japan, but this one – we’re even getting it before them. An entire month before.

However, that doesn’t really help us out here in the bargain department. So far we’ve only spotted one store with anything to offer, but it’s a good offer at least. Big W will have the New Nintendo 2DS XL for $189 with a copy of Luigi’s Mansion 2.

Every other store has it for RRP and if you’re hoping Target are going to come through for a bargain. They’re not stocking at launch, but will be later.

Here’s what we have so far;

    I’m half tempted (the new design is really sweet), but I would miss the 3D effect on some games: they did a really good job with Fire Emblem Awakening, and it’s cool to look around the world in Zelda with the 3D camera.

    The links to the Big W offer are not correct and i can’t find the offer on their website either. Anybody had any luck with this preorder?

      The link goes to OzBargain which have a scan on the most recent catalogue. When the catalogue is up on the Big W website I’ll change the link.

      The stores never update their websites until when the catalogues start. You won’t be able to price match this at EB anyway becasue its a ‘bundle’.

    I preordered at EB but I think I will head to Big W. I already have the game but I can sell it to make the console cheaper again.
