Team 17 said they were working on it, but it seems we wont have to wait long for it
Last night Nintendo Europe released information and release dates for a bunch of WiiWare and DSiWare games, among them was Worms Battle Islands. It’s a slightly different take on the Worms gameplay, with you battling to expand your territory or steal it away from your enemy. It adds another strategic element to the game.
You’ll be able to play with either the pointer or classic style with the Wiimote turned sideways for some classic action. And, unlike the retail release of Worms: A Space Oddity, it will have online play via Wi-Fi connection – hooray!
Best bit yet? It’ll be out before the end of the month – no price has been revealed as of yet, though.
