Wii’s sensor bar and sun kiss and make up

Reports surfaced yesterday that the upcoming Wii console, more specifically the sensor bar which translates movement from the Wii remote into the game, could be affected by the sun.

Of course, because we all play our Wii outside this will cause a serious problem. But seriously, while Halogen lamps may interfere, the Sun will not. For clarification, sites such as IGN and 1up contacted Nintendo of America and received the following response:

“”Our testing thus far shows no great risk of light interference when playing a game that relies on the pointer and sensor bar.”"

So all you glass-house-dwelling people can relax – you will be able to play your Wii!
