Further confirmation that a Wii Ethernet kit will be arriving for all those wire loving folks. Speaking to CVG , Nintendo UK has confirmed that it will indeed release an Ethernet Kit for Wii. The kit will be a USB powered hub which allows users to connect the console to a standard internet router.
Of course, if you do have a Wireless Router or a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Stick you can continue to use them with the Wii’s built in Wi-Fi. We have contacted Nintendo Australia about the Ethernet adapter, however no Australian details have been confirmed as of yet. Keep an eye out for more information about information that is hopefully released soon.
