EA Sports label and former Microsoft games division boss Peter Moore thinks that Wii will have about 50% market share when this generation is said and done. “”It looks to me as if the Wii is going to have at least half the installed base of the overall industry and the Xbox 360 and PS3 are going to fight over the balance, based on the run-rates we’re seeing”". The same week Sony’s Kaz Hirai thinks that the PS3 will sell 150 million units during its life span. Will Moore’s figure come to fruition? The Wii has passed and broken nearly every record out there, but can it take the market share cake?
