The Wii has broken another record by selling 50 million games in the first 18 months of the console being on sale. That figure does not include virtual console games or Wii Sports either. The previous record holder was the Playstation 2 with 42 million games sold in 18 months, giving the Wii a clear win of 8 million units. If you were wondering, the Xbox 360 came in at 30 million , the Xbox at roughly 28 million and finally the PlayStation 3 at about 20 million. Source: Kotaku
