Wii Watch: Breakfast TV show says Wii costs $1200

The Wii made its rounds on Australian TV this morning, firstly appearing on Sunrise where Pete Blasina boldly stated that the Wii comes with two games (Tennis and Golf A part of the Wii sports Package), which is a minor slip up right there. However, on the Today show, a short fluff piece about the Wii was shown, Nothing wrong with that right? Maybe not but keep reading to find what went wrong.

Well, Karl Stefanovic commented that the Wii costs $1200, we thought he was a bit misinformed. Also, Jessica Rowe seems to think that Going Outside may be a better solution.

News and Current Affairs programs are always running sensationalist stories on why children in Australia are getting more and more obese. Yet, when a system that Nintendo even admits to getting kids off the couch comes along, its not even praised or mentioned.
