Not only has Wii Sports Resort taken out the top spot, every other spot is also a Nintendo Wii or DS game
Cast your mind back a mere 4 years ago, a Nintendo game in the top ten that wasn’t Pokemon? Unheard of! Now take a look at the chart below, not only is a major Nintendo release the top game. Games that a nearly more than a year old or more take up the other 9 positions on the charts. While this isn’t the fairest week to test with many big box retailers holding their annual toy sales it is still impressive.
We hope to see some sort of announcement from Nintendo on just how well Wii Sports Resort has sold by the numbers.
