The juggernaut that is Wii Sports Resort proves no boundaries as half a million copies of the game fly off the shelves in America.
Nintendo has sent a very boastful press release today, and for good reason as Wii Sports Resort sold half a million copies in a mere 8 days. This of course is nowhere near it’s predecessor which sits on a comfortable 45 million, but that was included free with the Wii.
With now close to a million Wii Motion Plus units now sold in America, just what will be the next big game to use the accessory? Enough people have it now to make it worthwhile one would think.
Wii Sports Resort remains on the top of the charts here in Australia for the second week although no numbers have yet to be revealed by Nintendo Australia.
