Nintendo Australia has announced that Wii Fit has cracked over half a million sales in Australia helped along by Mothers Day.
Nintendo Australia has announced via its website that it has sold through more than 520,000 units of Wii Fit in Australia after just over a year on market. According to Nintendo this is now the fastest selling game in Australia to reach 500,000 units. For the last week alone, which began on Mother’s Day, Wii Fit sold through 29,000 units.
However Wii Fit isn’t the top dog. One more game is surpassing it and that is Wii Play which should be obvious if you have been following the charts for the last 2 years. Mario Kart Wii trails with 328,000 sales but is still well above anything else.
