While it has been floating around the forums for a week or so, we weren’t willing to make a news story about it until we had verified it from another retailer. Now that a second retailer has listed Wii accessories at this price we can cautiously tell you the price.
Read inside for more! The Wii Remote (or ‘Wiimote’) will retail in Australia for $69.95. Wiimote attachments such as the Nunchuk unit and the classic controller will set you back $29.95 each. Also listed is the Wii Play Bundle which includes a Wiimote (no Nunchuk) and the Wii Play software which contains a collection of simple mini games to get you aquainted with the Wiimote. Wii Play Bundle will retail for $79.95.
As these prices are not 100% confirmed they are liable to change. However, we don’t expect them to change when Nintendo Australia officially announce them soon.
