According to a new report, the Wii Shopping Channel will soon be getting an upgrade and an all-new channel will be soon be released. Firstly, the upgrade to the Wii Shopping Channel will allow players to buy Virtual Console and WiiWare games for a friend. The recipient of the gift will receive a message and will then be transferred to the shopping channel to download the program. This is due to happen sometime in December. More Inside Next up is a TV Guide channel which, like the name implies, will show you whats currently on the small screen. However, thats not due for release till later next year in Q2. More details on how exactly these channels will work and what regions will receive them will be revealed by Nintendo in the future.
