Over the weekend there has been quite a leak by SEGA, of their latest Sonic title. Screenshots of SEGA’s yet to be announced project, Sonic Unleashed, were leaked from a private FTP. According to several reports, the leaked screenshots and “”test video”" show off Sonic in his next big adventure, which looks to be ambitious enough to best Sonic’s latest two iterations. More inside Something notable about this leak, however, is that Sonic has a wolf-like alter ego of himself, and that the game will be “”multiplatform”" though whether or not that term specifically encompasses the Wii is yet to be seen.
It’s also worth saying that the name “”Unleashed”" is probably not the final name either, with Sonic & The Secret Ring’s original name, “”Wildfire”" being ditched early on during development. We’ll be bringing you more on Sonic Unleashed when SEGA announce details officially.
