The UFC series of games are heading to the Wii and possibly the Nintendo DS
THQ is bringing the UFC fighting games to Wii. UFC 2009 Undisputed was a huge seller this year so it’s not surprising to see them bringing it to the Wii. It’ll also be coming to handhelds; we’re assuming that is the Nintendo DS and/or PSP.
During a financial conference call CEO of THQ has said that “"We plan to build our UFC franchise by expanding international sales and by developing games on new platforms such as handhelds and the Nintendo Wii.". There’s no release date set but expect to see it sometime next year.
