Voice chat will not be included in Mario Kart Wii, with Nintendo opting to only include a text chat option in the highly anticipated game. In a new update on the European website for Mario Kart Wii, Nintendo confirmed players will be able to chat to each other while waiting for a race via the Wiimote. Keyboard support has not been confirmed.While this ads some much needed communication to the Wii online experience, it would be nice to see a full-blown voice chat option made available when playing with friends.
