A study by statistics mob Nielsen into the demographics and usage habits of console and PC gamers has shown that the Wii gamers demographic are playing their Wiis about 8% more than they did this time last year, in stark contrast to the 360 and PS3 which have been shown the be played much less by their owners in the same period. The survey has also shown that the average Wii gamer falls into the 6-11 age bracket and is likely to watch less television than owners of other consoles. Source: Survey report via Nielsen Blog
