Yoshinori Ono, producer for the eagerly anticipated Street Fighter IV, has brought a lingering hope to fans of the series who only own a Nintendo Wii. Although due for only the 360, PS3 and PC, Street Fighter IV may see a release on the Nintendo Wii if demand is high enough. In a recent interview with Ono, Ono comments that Street Fighter IV exists purely for the reason that everyone asked for it – now he states that “”the more people that ask about it, the more likely we are to move in that direction”" when questioned about a possible Wii version. More inside Yoshinori Ono also continued to explain that although it would be hard to replicate the graphics, the gameplay would remain intact should a Wii version be made. Additionally, in vein of Megaman 9′s back to roots appearance, Ono mentioned that he may look into doing a collaboration with the upcoming HD Remix for the Wii, but not yet 100% confirmed.
