Dragon Quest: Wars will be landing on DSiWare this October, get ready to go to war
Square Enix has announced that its turn-based strategy game based on the Dragon Quest series will be hitting the DSiWare service next month. This pits various characters from the Dragon Quest series in a table top style arena, with the goal to get to the other side of the board before you enemy does. You’ll be able to play as Slime, Dracky, Hammerhood, Healslime, Chimaera, and Golem, all from the main series.
There will be a singleplayer component to the game, but it will also have local multiplayer and online play with Nintendo Wi-Fi connection. Larry Sparks, Vice President Brands PAL Region of Square Enix Ltd. says, "DRAGON QUEST: WARS is a great game for all ages and skills levels. Fans of the series will enjoy a pick-up-and-play DRAGON QUEST adventure featuring favourite monsters from the series, while newcomers will be captivated by the compelling gameplay and ease of use."
The game will be available for 500 points sometime in October.
