Smash attacks are the essence of any Smash Bros game. Sure, the B moves are useful but nothing cries elitism that using the C stick that gave you an automatic Smash attack. While some are concerned this advantage will go with anything but the Gamecube controller Nintendo have now shown as the four control schemes and how they will make accessible the smash attack. No mention of the C-stick, perhaps they are removing it?
