Sega goes to the Dogs

Japanese magazine Famitsu has posted on their website screenshots of a upcoming DS game based on the Popular Sega Toys brand know as Tea Dogs(Ocha Inuno Heya). The Tea Dogs franchise is very popular in Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

In what is obviously inspired by Nintendogs, Tea Dogs allows you to play 18 minigames with your dog such as air hocket, poker machine, the game also features a greater level of customonisation with the player being able to edit all facets of the in-game house and of course your able to feed, clean and walk your dog.

The game however strays from the Nintendogs realistic look, by using bright cel-shaded colours, out of proporotion heads and also features cats.

It seens that Sega is creatativly empty, with them only being able produce cookie cutter games with a few exceptions (Rub Rabbits, Sonic Rush). No doubt the game will sellion millions, however it seems Sega just dont have any idea’s left.
