News broke last night that the BBFC had denied Manhunt 2 classification again even after the edited version was submitted. In a new statement Rockstar will continue to try and the game rated but it doesnt look like it will be making any more changes to the game. In an official statement Rockstar has said, The changes necessary in order to publish the game in Britain are unacceptable to us and represent a setback for video games More Inside

Rockstar then commented on the BBFC itself -The BBFC allows adults the freedom to decide for themselves when it comes to horror in movies and we think adults should be similarly allowed to decide for themselves when it comes to horror in video games, such as Manhunt 2. Manhunt 2 could become the defining case and be the benchmark for years to come.
