Confirming rumours last week, Ubisoft Senior Project Coordinator Stephanie Langlois working on Red steel has broken the news about online in Red Steel and indeed any other third party launch game for Wii.
In interview in the VIP lounge of Nintendo Europe, Langlois confirmed what we have all been dreading, “”Online will maybe one day be announced by Nintendo but it won’t be for the launch [of Red Steel] she told the website. So it looks like no Wifi Connection for the launch of Wii, however Langlois was also keen to point out that In terms of gameplay I can’t reveal anything really but what I can say is that internally we are making tons of tests,”" Perhaps they are testing for the possibility of patch delivered later on? As usual time will tell with these matters.
