Its not very often anyone hears anything from the guys at Rare, but every so often their Scribes mailbag is answered with answers varied and revealing. On the subject of what games now could appearing from the Rare back catalogue now that all of the Donkey Kong County games have been released, will games like Diddy Kong Racing with their inherent copyright problems (fixed in the DS version with character swaps) ever appear? In typical Rare fashion the answer is uncertain, but the Scribes points out the DS version and was cheeky by removing those characters, but its “”highly unlikely”" well see the title on the Virtual Console. The Mailbag also reveals that the Nintendo DS iteration of Viva Piata is now complete. Other questions more really vague answers can be found here.
