R4 demand in Japan goes up with possible ban on the way

With the end seemingly nigh for R4 and other flash cards in Japan, the push by Nintendo and the batch of 53 other companies to have the cards removed from shelves is actually doing wonders for the little cart of piracy (or homebrew). Reports suggest that the demand for the carts has gone up with one retailer saying “”The rush in demand has been amazing. These devices always sell well. But this weekend should be staggering, don’t you think?”" Its a risky move on the behalf of Nintendo and the other companies, so they better hope they win.
