The classic arcade franchise makes its debut on the 3DS
Not to be outdone by all the other publishers, TAITO and SQUARE ENIX have announced that Puzzle Bobble will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS, aptly titled Puzzle Bobble 3D.
While SQUARE ENIX did not announce many details, the publishing giant did announce that the game will feature a new system known as "Gimmick Bubbles". "Gimmick Bubbles" will allegedly take full advantage of the 3D space that the Nintendo 3DS will allow, and quite frankly we hope that the publisher comes up with a bit of a less negative name for the system.
Puzzle Bobble 3D will be released for the Nintendo 3DS sometime before April 2011 in Japan. When we know more about a local release, well be sure to update you.
