The good Professor and his trusty assistant Luke will have their bags packed and ready for the local release of Professor Layton and Pandoras Box
The game was announced for PAL territories a few months back, but now that it has popped up on the OFLC ratings website, we can all rest assured that more puzzle-solving adventure awesomeness is on its way to Australia.
The last time we saw the Professor, he was solving the various mysteries of the village of St. Mystere. The title has been altered from the American ‘Diabolical Box’ moniker, but gameplay is expected to be identical. This new adventure has him and Luke boarding the train ‘Molentary Express’ as they attempt to uncover the secrets of Layton’s mentor’s untimely death. ‘Curious Village’ has been selling exceptionally well in the UK in recent months, giving us reassurance that the third and fourth titles in the series will also be approved for western releases.
The game carries a European release date of September 25th. With the game only now showing up on the OFLC site, we shouldn’t expect to wait much longer past that date.
