Nintendo have released pictures today showing off the Wii Shop (Virtual Console), Forecast and News Channels, the Wii Shopping channel will be available day one with about 10 Virtual console games, the screen shots also confirms that GameCube Controllers can be used to play Virtual console games.
As reported earlier the Forecast and News channels will roll out on December 20 and January 27th respectively.
