Beat up each other with items snapped from photos taken on your DSi camera
Nintendo making a fighting game? Why I never. But it’s true and it’s heading to the DSiWare service in Japan next week for a mere 200 points. So what’s different about this one? Well, Photo Fighter X lets you take photos to use as backgrounds, characters, and items. You’ll need a friend to snap you in various fighting poses to put you in the game, but you’ll be able to take photos of anything to put as special moves to build a custom fighting style.
Not only can you put yourself in with a picture but also record your own taunts and grunts that go along with your special moves. There is of course a single player mode where you can take on 100 enemies in a row, and also a two player mode included in the game, albeit only played on the one DSi or DSi XL.
Photo Fighter X is out next week in Japan and we’ll most likely see it at some later point.
