PLAY! A Video Game Symphony coming down under

The local gaming music scene is picking up with PLAY! A Video Game Symphony. The event is heading to the Sydney Opera House in June 2007 for an Australian exclusive. The music performed is from games such as, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros, Chrono Trigger and many more performed by the Sydney Symphony under conductor and Grammy award winner Arnie Roth.

As well as a full orchestra complete with a choir and pipe organ, gameplay from the games are shown on huge screens above musicians. Booking will begin soon at this website. Register now so you can be emailed when tickets go on sale. The event sounds great for anyone who enjoys video game music or just video games in general.

After sell-out shows across North America and Europe, PLAY! A Video Game Symphony is heading to the Sydney Opera House in June 2007 for an Australian exclusive.

Brought to vibrant life by the Sydney Symphony under conductor and grammy award winner Arnie Roth, PLAY! is an innovative new concert series featuring award-winning music from over 20 blockbuster video game titles: Final Fantasy,

Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros., World of Warcraft, Lost Odyssey, Sonic the Hedgehog, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross and many more. As well as a full orchestra, choir and pipe organ, the concert features stunning gameplay sequences projected on giant screens suspended above the orchestra.
