Margaret Pomeranz from ABCs The Movie Show has voiced her support for an R18+ rating for games

In an interview with Byteside, Margaret Pomeranz has spoken out about the lack of an R18+ rating, stating that “I think it’s dangerous… it’s the start of danger when you have a government effectively saying, this is what we will allow you to see, and this is what we will not allow you to see. Fortunately they have very little power these days because we can see anything we want… as long as we’re prepared to break the law. And what you’re doing is turning people into criminals.”

While key industry figures like Tom Crago (Tantalus CEO and GDAA President) often voice their opinion on the lack of an R18+ rating, rarely do we hear from someone who is not only a public figure, but who isn’t on the fence about game censorship. Here’s what she had to say.

Byteside is a new show held by some local industry figures you may have heard of before, check it out here.
