Suda 51 has entertained the notion of Travis Touchdown in the next Super Smash Bros. He certainly has high hopes for the protagonist of No More Heroes
Suda 51 (or Suda Goichi, if you prefer) has recently expressed his ambition for Travis Touchdown, that lovable otaku and protagonist of No More Heroes (and soon, its sequel).
"I like a lot of my other characters, too, but Travis is my favorite. He has a special place in my heart. Hes a good friend of mine and I really wanted to work with him again. I will stay with him until he dies…
I love him, and I want him to be a huge star. Thats why Im working very hard to make this game as interesting as possible. Maybe in the future, we can see him fighting alongside Link in the next Smash Bros. [laughs] That would be great."
An interesting idea, but one cant help but wonder whether Travis would feel at home amongst the likes of Mario and Jigglypuff. However Snake made the cut in Brawl and he is possibly an odder choice.
