In a recent interview with Bloomberg, Nintendo of America Senior Vice President of Marketing George Harrison stated that Nintendos predicted the install base of Wiis around America would be around 35 million units by 2012. Looking at the Wiis demand, 35 million units in the US may be indeed possible considering the PS2 sold 38.5 million since its launch in 2000. Heres hoping Nintendo can keep up the current demand for the Wii and meet their 35 million unit goal. Source: Gamespot
