The July NPD charts are in for North America and Nintendo has done well yet again with both the Wii and Nintendo DS and in the software field. 608,000 DS units were sold and more than 555,000 Wii units sold with a 49% market share for the month. DS also had 73 percent share of hand-held sales in July. Five games from Nintendo consoles occupied the top ten with Wii Fit in at number two, Guitar Hero On Tour at position three, Wii Play in forth, Mario Kart Wii in 7th and disappointingly Rock Band for Wii in 8th.
