Nintendo has formally revealed to the public there top selling Wii games. The list comes as no surprise, except for the exclusion of Zelda and Metroid. The top selling game is Wii Sports at 11 million globally. That is taking into account the copies sold with the bundle in every part of the world besides Japan. Trailing in second is Wii Play at 6.3 million copies. Then we have Mario Party 8 at 2.9 million copies worldwide followed by Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree at 1.8 milion. Finally Mario Strikers Charged is listed with 1.3 million copies sold. No mention of Smooth Moves and Excite Truck but you can be sure they sold enough to appease Nintendo. Source: Wii IGN
